The Bodrum Edition
Turkey
VP ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN, IAN SCHRAGER COMPANY
The Bodrum Edition provides a refreshing vision of a modern-day resort, keeping it relevant and authentic to both guests and locals and stripping out the fanfare when it comes to luxury. With its architecture conceived as a “natural amphitheater” overlooking a white sandy beach on Yalikavak Bay, the resort draws inspiration from local influences and native natural resources yet infuses each space with surprising, ultra-modern twists.
The gardens, conjured as a Mediterranean oasis, reflect the peninsula’s indigenous flora and fauna. Native olive trees, which are so significant to the Turkish landscape, and local stone have been used throughout the resort to create a sustainable and captivating scene in keeping with its natural environment.

An oasis retreat
The rooms, suites, and magnificent private villa are generous and elegant in design. Their warm wood finishes and airy fabrics exude a relaxed, beach-house feel. A state-of-the-art spa facility comes complete with 14 treatment rooms, a modern take on a traditional Turkish Hammam, a salt treatment room, a sauna, a steam room, and a plunge pool.
Beach club scene
The resort hosts a Beach Club, where the ocean-fronted infinity pool, outdoor restaurant Brava, the bar, and private cabanas turn into Bodrum’s premium gathering place for resident guests as well as yacht-transported visitors from the nearby Mediterranean islands. Every aspect of the traditional beach resort has been re-imagined for the needs and desires of a new generation, and every thought has been given to enhancing a guest’s stay.
