The Times Square EDITION is a flagship property in the collection of hotels, conceived by Ian Schrager in partnership with Marriott International, to redefine the luxury hotel landscape by combining design elegance and personalized service with one-of-a-kind Food & Beverage and Entertainment offers.

The hotel brings a long-awaited new vision to Times Square, New York City’s famed cultural and entertainment mecca, acting as an oasis of sophistication above the hustle and bustle of one of the most vibrant urban centers in the world. It’s housed in a newly built 40-story tall structure, featuring 452 rooms and suites.

The sky gardens

The hotel lobby bars and restaurants and their expansive terraces were inspired by the L’Orangerie at Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. Their interiors, with their rich woods, lush velvets, waxed leathers, polished marbles, and smooth metals, are combined to create a chic, simple, hip, serene, and luxurious setting, an antidote to the hectic life just outside the hotel’s doors.

In addition to the six restaurant venues, an innovative club cabaret space has been wired and networked to broadcast hotel parties and events on one of Times Square’s largest LED billboard screen located at the base of the hotel tower.

In Belle Mare, nature is in perfect balance: the coral lagoon, white sand beach, palm gardens, and tropical sunlight. All combined to delight our senses. The design vision focuses on these textures and a palette of corals, blush pinks, and soft sands to brighten your senses and bring the spirit of the beach and landscape into the spaces to transform the guest experience.

The journey starts with a striking lobby, designed as a tropical Riad-like lounge with comfortable seating grouped around a water pond. It is nestled under an array of hand-glazed tiled arches. 

Home to Maison Lux*, an uplifting and serene touch of paradise.

Overlooking the prestigious LUX* Belle Mare pool, MONDO, the signature all-day dining 200-seat restaurant, has been carefully planned into intimate sections to give each table setting pool views. The buffet is a fun experience for everyone; it even has a dedicated kid’s area. The active cooking and display stations cater to the various cuisines on offer, including a free-standing pizza oven and a walkthrough cold pantry.

The LUX* Belle Mare food and beverage offerings were designed to create a fresh tropical environment that elevates and inspires every guest’s experience. Whether you eat by the pool or at the beach, each venue has been curated to capture a unique mood.

To greet you by the pool and ease you into holiday mode, look out for APPERTAIN, a blush pink spritz bar cast in rose-tinted reclaimed sand and amber glass. MIXOLOGIST is a vibrant resort bar, ready to serve day or night. A rope basket structure is nestled under the wood roof for a relaxed cocooning lounge feel with pool and beach views. Gaze at the sea view whilst resting on the swing chairs, or relax and have fun on the rocking loungers.
