LUX* Belle Mare, a 5-star prestigious resort on the east coast of Mauritius, encapsulates the essence of relaxed island living, where minimalism meets tropical design.   It has a contemporary feel and style, taking cues from the resort surroundings of lush greenery and sweeping ocean views.  

In Belle Mare, nature is in perfect balance: the coral lagoon, white sand beach, palm gardens, and the tropical sunlight. All combined to delight our senses. The design vision focuses on these textures and a natural palette of corals, blush pinks, and soft sands to brighten your senses and bring the spirit of the beach and landscape into the spaces.

Guests are first welcomed into a Ryad-like lounge, nestled under an array of hand-glazed tiled arches.  Home to Maison Lux*, a coffee bar, with its emerald-green mirrors and pistachio-green table tops.

Tropical Experiences

The Conservatory is a cool hideaway; an internal tropical garden with garden-styled chairs to relax and eat amongst lush scenery.

Aperativo, is the blush pink spritz bar.  The bar is cast in rose-tinted reclaimed sand.  It stands in front of amber glass to frame the ultimate sunset aperitif.

Overlooking the pool, Mondo, the signature all-day dining 200-seat restaurant, has been planned to create intimate table settings, each with a pool view. The buffet consists of active cooking and display stations which cater to the various cuisines on offer, including a free-standing pizza oven, a walk-through cold pantry and a dedicated kids area.

Mixologist, is located on the beachside.  It is Belle Mare’s vibrant resort bar, ready to serve day or night. A rope basket structure is nestled under the wood roof for a relaxed cocooning lounge feel.  Lined with swing chairs and rocking loungers, guests can enjoy the pool and beach views.
